EPDP Temporary Specification for gTLD Registration Data – Phase 2

Phase 1 of the EPDP concluded in May 2019, when the ICANN Board adopted the EPDP Team's Phase 1 Final Report, with the exception of parts of two recommendations. See background of the EPDP and its Phase 1 work here. In conjunction with the adoption of the Final Report, the GNSO Council provided the non-objection for the EPDP Team to commence its work on Phase 2 of the charter.

The EPDP Phase 2 Team submitted its Final Report to the GNSO Council on 31 July 2020. The GNSO Council will begin discussion of the Final Report during its meeting on 24 September 2020.
