Agenda:
1. ccNSO meeting in Carthage;
It was agreed to hold a meeting in Carthage, hosted by members of the Launching Group. The meeting will be open to anyone to attend and is for the purposes of:
- Informally discussing progress and the on-going timetable with members;
- Answering any questions from members and prospective members;
- Encouraging prospective members to join; and
- Discussing and getting feedback on the possible methods for electing the first council of the ccNSO.
2. Applications;
The majority of applications were approved. Those that remain in pending require some clarification or do not comply. The LG will write to pending applicants explaining the problem or, where applicable, requesting further information.
The LG agreed that amended or altered application forms were not acceptable. The LG agreed that applications accompanied by a letter setting out conditions under which the application was made were also not acceptable.
3. Encouraging membership;
Prior to the Carthage meeting the LG will send an invitation to join the ccNSO to each ccTLD manager as referenced in the IANA database.
4. Spokesman;
The LG agreed to appoint Chris Disspain as their spokesman. As such he will be responsible for sending, on behalf of the LG, confirmations of membership approvals and requests for further information on membership applications where applicable. He will also represent the LG publicly and, where necessary at meetings involving the LG.
