The following statement has been transmitted to the public consultation on the IRT Final Report.
The At-Large staff has the honor to transmit to you the ALAC Statement on the IRT Final Report on behalf of the At-Large Advisory Committee.
This Statement was drafted by ALAC Member Patrick Vande Walle at the request of the ALAC, and follows on from the ALAC Statement on the Draft IRT Report (AL.ALAC/ST.0509/2.Rev1) of 12th May 2009.
The original draft of this document was posted for At-Large community consultation on 13th June, closing on 26th June; several members of the community made comments. The draft statement, and the comments made by members of the community, may be reviewed at https://st.icann.org/alac-docs/index.cgi?statement_of_the_alac_on_the_irt_s_final_report_al_alac_st_0609_1. This final text synthesized those comments made and a vote of the ALAC began on 2nd July, ending on 6th July.

Please note that the attached ALAC Statement has already been submitted to the official email address for this consultation on February 7th. The present email is to confirm the status of this Statement as an official communication from the ALAC to the ICANN Board of Directors.
