ALAC Statement on ICM Application for the .XXX sTLD

The attached statement [PDF, 372 KB] on the Report of Possible Process Options for Further Consideration of the ICM Application for the .XXX sTLD was drafted by Cheryl Langdon-Orr, Chair of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) with the help of the members of the ALAC Executive Committee.

The draft statement was submitted for review to the wider At-Large community and discussed on the mailing lists and the monthly conference calls of the regional At-Large organizations (RALOs). The RALOs from North America and Asia, Australasia, and the Pacific Islands decided to submit individual regional statements, which have been appended to the ALAC Statement.

On April 29 th, the Chair of the ALAC asked the Staff to start a five-day online vote on the ALAC Statement on the ICM Application for the .XXX sTLD.

On May 10th 2010, the statement was transmitted to the public consultation process on the Report of Possible Process Options for Further Consideration of the ICM Application for the .XXX sTLD with a copy going to the ICANN Board of Directors.
