As the Chair of the country code Names Supporting Organisation (ccNSO), I welcome you to our website.
The ccNSO plays an important role in the Internet governance community. As ccTLD operators, we work at the heart of the Internet, and our role in the Internet ecosystem is not one we take lightly.
We are the body responsible for developing policies on a range of global issues affecting country code top-level domains (ccTLD) within the ICANN structure. In practice, however, the ccNSO is much more than that. The ccNSO is also a venue for dialogue and sharing of best practices amongst its members.
On this website, you can find out more about who we are, what we do and our current activities in support of ccTLD interests.
Membership of the ccNSO is open to all. There is no fee to become a member of the ccNSO, and it is open to all ccTLD registries. If you are not already a member, please consider becoming one.
I look forward to hearing the voices and perspectives of the ccTLD community over my term as Chair.
Byron Holland, ccNSO Chair
