Future Structure, Accountability and Transparency of ICANN

Last Updated:

Description
This working group is the result of a merger between the working group on transparency and accountability and the working group on the future structure and governance of ICANN. The two working groups were originally established in advance to the At-Large Summit in Mexico City in March 2009.
The working group evaluates and discusses the overall structure of the ICANN multi-stakeholder model and makes suggestions to improve its transparency and accountability processes. Issues related to the Affirmation of Commitments (AoC), the policy development process, the strategic planning, the evolution of ICANN's Bylaws, Contractual Compliance and how ICANN's budget is developed are of specific interest to the members of this group.
