AGENDA 1.  Participation in ICANN (30 mins) The Board Public Participation Committee is currently looked at the issues of: language, the public comment process, electronic tools for participation, the public forum at meetings, and document deadlines. Are these the right topics to be focusing on? Which do you believe is most important? Are there additional topics? 2.  Document deadline policy (60 mins) A document deadline policy has recently been put out for public comment. We would like to discuss the different elements of that policy and incorporate your feedback into a possible revision of the policy. Please see below for a full copy of the document deadline policy as well as questions we would like to see raised and answered during our discussion.  SPEAKERS The session will be open and broad discussion encouraged. The meeting has been convened by the Board Public Participation Committee, whose chair, Jean-Jacques Subrenat, will be moderating the meeting. Online moderation will be carried out by Kieren McCarthy, ICANN’s general manager of public participation.  GOALS AND EXPECTED OUTCOMES The goal of the session is to receive input from the community on the Committee’s work, in particular the document deadline policy, in order to make progress on ICANN’s participation efforts. An expected outcome is focused feedback on the elements of the document deadline policy, as well as reinforcement that the Committee is pursuing the right participation issues and/or the introduction of new issues of importance to the community.  RELATED LINKS ·      Committee homepage:
