9) Do you believe you are participating in the GNSO policy process as a representative of any individual or entity, whether paid or unpaid? I participate as a representative of CORE and endeavor to show the perspective of (1) future TLD registries and (2) domain name resellers.
If the answer is “Yes,” please provide the name of the represented individual or entity. (If professional ethical obligations prevent you from disclosing this information, please enter "Private"):
CORE Internet Council of Registrars

10) Please identify any other relevant arrangements, interests, or benefits as requested in the following two questions: CORE is a not-for-profit membership association of domain registrars, most of whom have the status of reseller with respect to ICANN's accreditation framework. Whle resellers lack appropriate representation in ICANN, CORE is accountable to its members and thus represents their interests alongside its own charter purpose of facilitating the operation of gLTDs in the public trust.

a) Do you have any type of material interest in ICANN GNSO policy development processes and outcomes? Yes.
If the answer is “yes,” please describe the material interest in ICANN GNSO policy development processes and outcomes:
CORE's charter purpose includes the creation of new gTLDs for operation in the public trust. As far as the Whois is concerned, two parties represented by CORE are being disadvantaged by the current logic of the Whois service, namely the domain name resellers and the prospective TLD registries. The domain name resellers are not reflected at all in the Whois, a situation that weakens their position in many ways. The prospective new registries may have specific new requirements for their future Whois service which are not recognized by the current framework. Correcting these issues has material advantages for these parties and their users.

b) Are there any arrangements/agreements between you and any other group, constituency or person(s) regarding your participation as a work team member? No.
