BTW - in order for this to become the position of the constituency, it
will require someone to second the proposal and a few endorsements
(5?) as well.
Has actual voting been done away with? Anything to improve the RC's
process, and eventually ICANN's process too ... ;-)
Of course, I'm happy to take amendments that might improve the
positioning.
I'm not happy with a universal rejection (of funding) to a universal
request (for funding), though if it is simply an opening position in a
process towards a more carefully delineated position, then ... its possible.
I'd like to see an exception mechanism, either from the universal
funding position (nominally Adrian's) or the universal rejection
position (nominally yours), that has some means test for need.
If you view that as "friendly" in principle, then we can add a proposed
"friendly" amendment, and if not, not.
