  Intergrity of data is so crucial to the appropriate management and confidence of the Internet that I really think that Danny's request should be given great consideration.

A failure to escrow the data pertaining to the "real
registrant" (by making it optional) is a horribly bad
idea. 

ICANN's obligation is to ensure the integrity of the
registration by escrowing the "real data" -- it should
be treating escrow of the proxy service elements as
optional. 

Please reconsider the above clause.
