And again Jeff. We have not decided they will "represent" us in any way shape or form. They may be in a role better described as moderator depending on how people vote. You may not think that a moderator is needed but other may think there should be one. You don't get to decide on your own what will or will not be the roles of those. That keyword there was elected. That means everyone gets to vote on an issue or on who will or will not represent the GA which has a long way to go beofre it gains legitmacy.

So let's go back to discussing which options we would like included in the next vote process. We are not discussing what options to leave out as to limit people's choices Jeff. We are discussing which options should be added to the list so that people can make the choices they want.

Remember that these voting issues, representatives or not, moderators, etc. will apply even as the membership grows and is not just for the current list members.

 CO-Chair, NOT Vice Chair...

 Both Chair and CO-Chair to be equally serving as representative
of GA members and subservient to the will of the GA members
via resolution(s) passed simple majority vote or the GA members.

A moderator is not needed as we are all adults...
Voting rules are nearly irrelevant.  One man/woman/GA member one
vote is the only rule really needed.   It may be useful to have a time
limit for any and all votes.

Maybe simple questions, but should be mentioned.

When we did the WG for the names council, we used the voting booth.. I
agree more participation is definitely needed though.

I was in the second WG here and been here ever since. I don't recall a
WG that went of list.
perhaps you are thinking of the sublist idea. I liked it but most hated
it. But alas that was back when the GA really worked as a GA. I think
your solution is a good one though. If you can just get people to go
participate in voting.
