Chuck,
I have similarly come to the conclusion that it may be
impossible to ever adequately represent Business.
Businesses are much too diverse and widespread
around the world to ever be represented in any
effective manner through organizational processes.
Those that now pretend to represent Business within
ICANN are self-selected. How is a Business
Constituency with self-selected members any different
than a Registrant's Constituency with self-selected
members?
If you look at the recent BC Meeting Report from
Marrakech you will note:
"PDP-06: No member present felt competent to
intervene on this issue so attendees agreed not to
intervene on this issue.
PDP-05: No member present felt competent to intervene
on this issue so attendees agreed not to intervene on
this issue."
At least registrants on the GA list are competent
enough to discuss the relevant issues.
