Rosemary,
You will recall that last year I proposed that a mailing list be set up between
the SG Chairs and the Council leadership to aid communication.
The Council thought this was not necessary. If I recall, one of the arguments
against this idea was that as Councillors are tasked with acting as liaisons to
their respective groups anyway, there was no need for an extra channel of
communication.
Any reason why this specific issue should be any different? Do you not think
that Councillors can simply liaise with their groups and take back our
discussions? I know that is what I did with the RrSG leadership...
