Larry and all,
The Domain Registry of America signed up for a reseller account with Wild
West Domains under an assumed name. Once it became clear that the new
reseller was really the DRoA, Wild West immediately gave them an ultimatum:
either cease and desist the deceptive mailings, or your reseller privileges
will be terminated. Because DRoA continued to send the deceptive mailings,
even after promising to stop, Wild West has taken steps to terminate their
reseller business. Wild West is strongly opposed to deceptive domain name
renewal notices and will not tolerate such activity from its resellers. As
most people know, Wild West's sister company, Go Daddy, successfully sued
VeriSign over similar deceptive notices and took a leadership position on
the issue to clean up the renewal process. Wild West and Go Daddy have no
intention of tolerating deceptive advertising in the domain name space and
will continue to fight for straight forward advertising requirements.
Tim

A person answering their 866 number said they
use Wild West Domains, a Godaddy company.
