Dr. Dierker, JFC, and all,

  Martin is another policy wonk and will not likely be the UK's
GAC rep. for very much longer as from what I understand,
the new PM Mr. Brown is looking for a more substantive
individual with a bonified technical background.  In any
event he will be an ENGLISH speaker.  However maybe
whomever the UK's GAC rep. is, he will have a cute
tart french translator to assist him in matters so important
to my french friends and family members.  >:)
