  Well maybe America can be now considered a distant exotic land if
the ICANN meeting is not held in the US?

  As to wheather this ICANN announcement was a bad idea or
not seems to be directed to claims of ICANN being overly US
centric, which means this announcement was good PR.

  And I am sure Theresa Swinehart will choose well
for Los Angeles, after all she once worked for
Worldcom/con.  >;)  Now you can't get much better
expertise for this program than that, can you?! >;)
