The ACLU and AARP are examples of organizations that can demonstrate
power through voting and legitimize themselves through outreach that
results in self-funded efforts and organization. How could the ALAC
provide a more real presence or perception of power other than a report
from 2001? That seems to be a problem. Food for thought.
