However, anyone should be able to register and operate a TLD. If I am forced
to only allow registrars to sell domain names for me and those registrars do
not want to sell them, then I should be able to selll them myself. I support
Chuck on that point.

Maybe it could be that bit is offered to X number of registrars and if all
of them turn it down, then you are allowed to move on and market your own
domain names. Maybe there could even be a license granted for an
Uber-Registry.

If enough TLDs were introduced there would be no problem. ICANN consistantly
denying us the right to operate any TLD we choose is the problem. Allow more
TLDs and the market forces will be allowed to do what ICANN cannot regulate.
