Re: [ga] The End of Domain Tasting and its Consequences
Veni, most people do not want ccTLDs. Yes I know my exposure to clients does
not represent everyone on the planet. But hear me out please. I get on
average 20 clients per week that pay me to help them choose domain names.
Whenever I suggest a ccTLD name, even a one-word short targeted domain name
on a ccTLD 100% of them take a longer dot com or even dot info over the
better ccTLD domain name choice.
Another example. I registered Mortgages.pn. Mortage.com (typo) sold for
$242,400. Mortgages.pn did not even get a starting bid of $400 on ebay.
People do not want ccTLDs.
Indian and Chinese tlds aren't going to be a hot property unless you are
trying to sell to people in india and china in my opinion.
