Sedo (a company active in the secondary market for domain Names) assumes here that ICANN "owns" the single letters of the Latin alphabet under .com (and by implication under other TLD's as well).
Only an owner (or a secured creditor or the government) has a right to sell property by auction.


Does ICANN now "own" the restricted second levels as a result of it's restrictions?
