Richard and all former DNSO GA members or other interested
stakeholders/users,
First of all, Vittorio's remarks were a collection of misinformation as
all
of us here know full well that the ALAC was and remains a instrument
of the ICANN BoD, not a structure for gaining individual stakeholder
involvement. That had at one time been well underway when the old
DNSO was a part of the ICANN structure, until Stuart Lynn decided
to disband the DNSO in favor of a much more indirect representation
of individual stakeholders/users. Hence moving backwards cannot
reasonably be viewed or seen as a honest effort to be more inclusive,
but rather less. Vittorio know this full well, yet again has trouble
in being honest about it.
