Of course there are criminals out there. Of course there are cyber cops to bust em.

But it is good to hear an enforcement reinfocement of the truth that data is oftern more liquid than the Eurobuck.
"Information is the world's new currency," W. Ralph Basham, director of the Secret Service, said in a statement. "These suspects targeted personal and financial information of ordinary citizens as well as the confidential and proprietary information of companies engaged in e-commerce."
Now use some public policy common sense and apply that and juxtapose that against ITs public policy concerns that require registrars to get all that info from you just to register a name, in order that "Coca-Cola" can sue you for open and notorious piracy.
Public Policy was ignored except where it benefited megacorps.
