Thanks for your substantive mail, Karl, which I have snipped! Your new
confidence in Paul Twomey is heartening but as yet to be demonstrated.

I e-mailed Paul 45 days ago, appealling to him to get the serious concerns
and questions over the NewTLD processes addressed... concerns which I had
previously sent to the ICANN-Registrar Liaison executive Dan Halloran...
over 425 days later, Dan has never even acknowledged receipt of my mail, and
as I say, 45 days later Paul has failed to acknowledge my mail either.

That is dismal responsiveness.

To date, ICANN has set up a "Wall of Silence" around many of the
widely-publicised abuses of the New TLD events of 2001 and 2002.

If ICANN is genuinely going to change its spots under Paul Twomey, then I
expect open and detailed dialogue over these matters, and as a start, I
expect a response and acknowledgement from Paul, indicating that he is
indeed prepared to see that staff or himself engage in responsive dialogue
over the public's serious concerns and questions about these matters.

Karl, you say there has been a major change at ICANN.

Paul, please could you demonstrate this in practice, by ending the evasion
of honestly-posed questions, and by pulling down the "Wall of Silence".
