Hugo,
Lest you get a mistaken impression, let me explain.
This list is monitored in a political way. If someone here says something that 
annoys somebody and that somebody either is in ICANN Staff or other position Or 
they know someone who is, then they complain. And then in order to buy favor 
with that someone on the outside, a person is kicked off the list. The last 
person kicked off was informed it was a post he made -- but clearly the post 
referenced was posted by someone else.  So somebody was mad at Joe and got him 
kicked off.  That simple. No rules, no accountability and no rights of any sort.
No one is responsible for doing the maintenance you describe.

I am truly astonished by the this list moderation.

I've seen members get censored and/or suspended from posting before. Some of 
these prior actions were even debatable.

On the other hand, dnthomas76@xxxxxxxxx has been polluting both the list 
members mailboxes and the list archives since the 11th and no action was taken 
whatsoever. I have to wonder if there is lack of understanding on how the 
mailing list software is to be operated, or if the people are too busy 
discussing the problems of the internet to perform a simple click in a button 
to stop this viagra salesman.

Sometimes it's good to stop contemplating the forest and take a second with a 
tree or two.
