Transparency and Accountability

That which is neither seen nor heard, cannot be accounted for by another.  The
new era of accountability will require stakeholders like Registrars and NCUC to
be more transparent and accountable.

I believe that one of the characteristics that the muckity mucks do not like
about the GA is it's long standing history of transparency. I think the new
constituencies or whatever they may be called should take a good hard look at
the pros & cons of such transparency.

It is my hope that the formation and founding of new groups within ICANN
maintain the integrity desired by keeping the initial organizational
process transparent.

To the members of the Registrar Constituency,

Back in January, your constituency submitted a re-confirmation notice to the
ICANN board.  In that document (in the Transparency Section), you indicated
that a mailing-list archive will be featured in the next iteration of the
constituency's website.

It's now almost nine months later, and many of us are wondering whether your
constituency will soon be giving birth to a publicly accessible fully
transparent archive.

Looking forward to the actualization of your commitment to transparency to the
maximum extent feasible...

best regards,
Danny Younger
