All,

FYI,
see:http://www.nextgov.com/nextgov/ng_20090121_8130.php?zone=ngtoday

So far this looks like a good re-start from my perspective. Much
work needs to be done, and many opinions need to be modified
and correction of the results of those opinions WILL be addressed
and corrected.

It has been clear and well documented that ICANN approach to
security and privacy, much like Googles, Yahoos and Microsofts
in particular has been far less than even close to the already
established security and privacy state of the science, as is true for
many government departments, including DHS. This cannot stand
and will not be tolerated by myself, or any of our members and I believe

by this new administration.

So far ICANN in particulars approach to security and privacy
of users, and especially registrants has be abysmal at best. This
must change and change quickly. At this time the feet dragging
by ICANN Accredited Registrars and Registries is far from
reasonable. Get busy Dave and Steve!
