I am becoming concerned over the innaction on these multilingual/cultural
initiatives.
But I think there are solutions.
Is they any translator/verifier that refuses to do it on a volunteer non-paid
basis?
Are there any that would refuse payment?;-)
Who is getting paid by ICANN to get this done?

Roberto,
The ITU made a commitment to carry out its work in six
official languages. It backed up that commitment with
a budget for translations/interpretations.
Is there any particularly good reason why ICANN (with
US$50 million in revenues) must rely on volunteers
instead of a professional staff?
