mark owner celebrates transfer of 'freixe.net'</a></b>
<b>International</b> <br>
In <i>Freixenet SA v Averwald</i>, a WIPO panellist has ordered the
transfer of 'freixe.net' to the complainant - the owner of the FREIXENET
mark. The panellist rejected the German respondent's contention that the
domain name referred to the German word '<i>frei</i>' meaning 'free' and
'Xe' - an abbreviation for the Unix computer operating system.
