Hello George,
The problem seems to be that the LSE recommendations
are stuck within the Board Governance Committee. It
is now over six months since the release of the LSE
report and what has ICANN done to deal with the
pressing need for reform?
Even the top-down President's Advisory Committee in
November pointed to the need to conclude the Reviews
"particularly to clarify and strengthen respective
roles, contributions, expectations, and
responsibilities".
One has to wonder why the Board has chosen to
substantially delay the GNSO review process. There
are doubtless many that are starting to conclude that
the Board doesn't have the balls to properly reform
itself or the GNSO.
