Eric and all former DNSO GA members or other interested
stakeholders/users,

If ICANN=ALAC and ALAC=ICANN as Richard argues quite well
and with entirely valid premise, than the ALAC like its former failed
predecessor, the ALSC, is not legitimately representing any and all
interested stakeholders/users in a open, bottom-up, and transparent
manner. And so Eric, yes it certainly does matter... Why you might
ask? Well, because in short, and for one fundamental reason, by
design it violates good governance practices for openness and
transparency... The ALAC appears to myself and all of our
members to be an auxiliary to the ICANN "Club"...
