Interesting indeed.

This is the reason I stood up in the public forum in LA and make a
comment expressing my about the pricing.

Interestingly I was ridiculed and dismissed by the Meeting Committee
members of the Board and later told I was wrong.

I suggest perhaps that we put forward a formal complaint to the
Committee expressing our collective concerns. Having been involved in
the losing Dubai bid for this meeting (and being told the prices were
too high) I am a little bewildered. They certainly were not at this
level...
