Dear Members and Associates:
We are currently voting on the Motion, "Moved that the Registrars
Constituency accept the changes to our Rules of
Procedure to permit Fast Track Motions in exceptional circumstances."
The first "Call for Votes" has been sent to the list of voting members.
Let me remind you of the Votebot voting procedures. The ballot will
be sent three times. The first was sent yesterday. The subject line
read as follows:
Fast Track Motions (1st Call for Votes)
It was sent from "From: registrar_vote@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
The first three lines read as follows:
ID: (:O7RK"KB)=T` [This was the code on my copy, yours would be different.]
ID is your ballot validation code. Do not remove.
This is your ballot for "Fast Track Motions".
end quote:
The ID is used to identify ballots sent from the wrong Email
address. Votebot will only accept your ballot from your registered
voting Email address. However, if your ballot is sent from another
address, Votebot can identify the voting member. I am alerted and I
can sort it out. Please do not do any editing of the ID.
Here is the schedule for the three "Calls for Votes" (CFV):
12:00:00 03/18/07 PDT 1st CFV [That's Pacific Daylight Time]
12:00:00 03/20/07 2nd CFV
12:00:00 03/22/07 Final CFV
11:59:00 03/24/07 Vote closes, results mailed
On last caveat, you can always override your earlier vote by
Votebot. Just send an additional ballot and you can correct your first ballot.
This is an important ballot. Let's see a good turnout at the "polls";-)
Regards,
BobC
Treasurer
