Indirectly.
The ICANN letter alleges a longstanding pattern of neglect of various
matters on the part of Registerfly. Apart from that letter, I have been
regularly approached by parties having various grievances with Registerfly
over the course of many months.
The civil complaint alleges that one of several individuals involved in the
management of Registerfly has wasted the companies funds on various things.
None of these allegations, of course, is yet proven. However, the
longstanding problems at Registerfly, and my personal interactions with some
of the individuals concerned, suggest that the larger problems at
Registerfly are not due to the actions of a single individual. The civil
complaint and its timing give the impression of someone being thrown from
the train.
