[registrars] Save the Date: Domain Roundtable Conference (April 19-21, 2006)
ICANN Registrars,
Last year Name Intelligence produced a conference to build awareness and
participation in the domain industry for us all to benefit from, I have
gotten a lot of good feedback on last years event from many of you
individually. Many of the registrars on this mailing list are already
formally coming or attended last year, yet I would like to say that you are
all formally welcome and invited to participate this year. The conference
is April 19-21, 2006, and will be held in Bellevue Washington.
Conference Site: http://www.domainroundtable.com
Agenda: http://www.domainroundtable.com/agenda.html
The show is approximately three weeks after the Wellington, NZ ICANN
meetings, so schedule conflicts should be minimal. Last year the Registrar
Panel was a big hit with the audience, and this year we're hoping to repeat
that session along with many other sessions. We have Vint Cerf
(Google/ICANN) and Marc Ostrovsky (business.com/IREIT) as keynote speakers,
along with live domain auction, and a few more events.
We're expecting at least 300 people and it is filling up fast because of
incentive pricing that lasts until 1/30. There is a good opportunity to meet
and network with people, and a lot of new businesses and business
relationships spawned from the social scenarios and networking in and around
the sessions last year.
I would appreciate if those of you interested in participating in panels or
speaking, please contact Jothan Frakes <jothan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> to discuss
details. If having a signage or other exposure is something that is
interesting to you there are still sponsorship options open. Jothan and I
will be in Wellington for the ICANN meetings, so we can talk there, yet the
space for speakers and sponsors is limited so contact before Wellington is
advised.
I hope you will join us for the Domain Roundtable
