Dear Registrars:<br><br>
The ballot on voting procedures closed several hours ago. The
majority of our members (56%) voted to have the results concealed while
the ballot is open. Full results are to remain available *after*
the closing of the ballot.<br><br>
The results show that 58% of the eligible voters participated. I
believe that comes close to or exceeds the participation on all prior
ballots. Let's continue to increase the vote participation of our
members as we deal with issues coming to us. The higher the
percentage voting on issues, the greater the mandate to take or defer
actions; similarly, the greater the authority with which our
elected Officers, Council Members and Task Force leaders bring to their
deliberations.<br><br>
