Dear all,

I have begun to notice some pretty outrageous Whois formats. Some of these
formats may become a barrier to implementation of this policy.

The latest one that I've seen displays each contact on a single line. For
U.S. addresses, there is no space between the City and State. In addition,
the E-mail address line looks like this:

  E@mail, admin@xxxxxxxxxxx

The extra @ sign appears to exist solely to confuse automated parsers. If
we are going to truly have 350 ICANN-accredited Registrars, we need to have
some consistency or better means of acquiring the e-mail address(es)
necessary to implement this policy.

Regards,
