I think that we would all agree with this sentiment.  I would further propose the following process:

Each candidate should state their order of preference for the task forces.  Anyone winning multiple seats, would automatically get their top choice and be removed as the winner of the next choices.  The winning slot for the second or third choice task force would be filled with the runner up in that task force.  If the runner up was also a designee for another task force through this ballot, that person would also be designated their top choice.

The benefits would be a) to automatically designate winners and b) help direct appropriate voting by registrars.

I don't think that its physically possible ;) Personally speaking, if by 
some fluke of the voting process one us were to be elected to more than 
one spot, it would seem to make sense for the candidate to stand aside 
on the additional spots in favor of the next most popular candidate - I 
certainly will be if I end up in the position Bruce describes.
