Mr. Dierker and all,

Indeed true Mr. Dierker. However getting paid for doing so does not

deminish the pride factor what so ever. With ICANN's huge budget

and cash on hand, seems to me it can easily afford to PAY individuals

for this service, instead of wanting it done for free. Human translators cost

real money. Electronic translation applications are many and varied

and the good ones are not cheap up front, but are far cheaper over time

and do a very good job of translating text than a human translator as well as are

often more accurate in doing language translation than are human translators.

Just a note to bring this back up again. The actualy doing of this work is something to be very proud of indeed. Talking multiculturalism and multilingualism is just that, talk.

But actually helping in a realtime real personal way is fantastic.

If we could get an additional five checkers in the languages listed below, by rotating through the list of checkers we could ensure that the 'fatigue factor' was removed for a good while - and also increase the capacity of the system to release translations in a more timely fashion.
