Perhaps it's good to mention also what was the situation in 2001, for those of the members of the list, who don't know the history? You see, from today's point of view, from the current model, many things may seem differently than then seemed in 2001. Besides, if someone's recommendations are not being accepted he or she has a choice: a) continue to contribute, and try to be as positive as possible, in order to make his/her point b) start to name people and bash them for being with a different from his/her opinion c) leave the discussion, and continue doing something, where his/her opinion are being listened to. I don't understand if you are unhappy with something, why do you try to make all the people unhappy about it? If you are angry at the 2001 Board/Staff for not accepting your proposal, why would you continue bashing the 2007 Board/Staff for this, etc., etc. It has been my experience that the johnny-come-latelies are usually not inclined to educate themselves fully on the past issues of ICANN to understand the current situation and why many of us have become quite frustrated. Let's hope you're different. ;-) Well, if you are frustrated, by continuing to express your 2001-old frustration, you are not helping anyone - not yourself, not ICANN, not the newcomers. Perhaps it's worth thinking a little bit before starting all over again. veni
