Ted and all,
Yes I have seen this. However this misses the more important
point, which is ICANN established its abrogation to WIPO and
created the UDRP. From MS's announcement tenor and stated
intention, it seem from a significant sector of the Internet
community, WIPO's UDRP team and ICANN have failed
in this approach. As such, ICANN has created a very disruptive
circumstance which many of us at the time this relationship with
WIPO was discussed and debated knew it was doomed to
this sort of failure. Now that seems to have come to pass. So,
yet again ICANN's leadership continues to demonstrate a lack
of intelligence, foresight, and professionalism that is essential,
and especially to small ecommerce business, which is 48% of
ecommerce revenue... From where I sit that is not an expectable
consequence and/or result.
