This is a very productive line of inquiry.  I would hope that Glen takes it up the ladder as a suggestion.  It is also a strong reminder that the GA is alive and if it chose to could organize, elect and have representation.

not for us. 

I guess that ICANN finds it desirable to fund the
activities of those that wish to spend their time
debating the particulars of RALO structures moreso
than to fund the efforts of those actively engaged in
DNS policy discussions.

Perhaps one day ICANN will allow those of us that
actually care about a better future for the DNS to
join their private "club" (and will support us to the
same degree that it supports its sycophants)... but I
doubt it.
