They should make it more than 5 cents.
$0.05/domain * (365 days per year) / (5 days) = $3.65/domain per year.
That's less than the $6/yr charged to regular domain registrants, and
thus normal domain registrants would seem to be subsidizing tasters. A
fee of 10 cents or 15 cents would seem to be more appropriate. Perhaps
make it 10 cents to the registry plus 3 cents to ICANN, for a 13 cents
fee.
