Bruce,
The GNSO Council is poised to move forward on the
issue of new TLDs. In keeping with past practice it
will doubtless appoint a task force to deal with the
issue. The Council may appoint up to three outside
advisors to sit on the task force. The Council may
also pursue other options that it deems appropriate to
assist in the PDP.
On behalf of ICANN participants that are not
affiliated with the recognized constituencies, I would
ask that the Council make provision for our
participation in this process.
