In case you don't have time to read through the entire
document, here is the key line:
"Given IUSN?s intransigence, ICANN has been requested
to redelegate the registry to the NITC, which will
then contract with a technically capable registry
operator for the day-to-day
management."
This sure sounds as if a redelegation request was
tendered... by the way, does the IANA ever publicly
and transparently post redelegation requests for
community review?
