Eric and all former DNSO GA members or other interested
stakeholders/users,

  This as you may recall was hotly debated on more than one occasion.
The
ICANN BoD and the self appointed GAC members made the decision that
the GAC needed close door meetings to discuss "Things" for reasons
that if acting in the public interest seem at a minimum, very
suspicious.

Closed meetings of any sort that have the ability to effect the public
interest, should not be allowed or even considered if openness and
transparency is to be realized and recognized respectfully...
