Declan, Richard, and all,

  I am of course sorry to see that Dick made such a silly mistake, and
even more sorry that George Soros took advantage of it the why he
did.  However I do have to say that George Soros is more wrong
for taking advantage of the Vice president's misstep.

  On has to remember and consider, that Dick was in the middle of
a debate when he made the misstep and to take such advantage of
such a small misstep is not good political form.

  None the less, I thought Dick lost the debate on other grounds
of more substance and interest...
