So Verisign gets it's major lawsuit against it dismissed.

For the uninitiated the concept with prejudice is not a value or moral term. It is a term of art which means the lawsuit cannot be brought again. Remember the vagueries of jurisprudence always have exceptions.
Generally it means that either the plaintiff ran into a problem or requirement that he just could not overcome. Or that he got a little something and agreed such a term to let the matter rest forever.
 
This lawsuit would never have occurred with an active and effective GA giving guidance to the parties in the far more impressive court of public opinion, and in this case advice.
Synergism is far more effective than antagonism.
