The average Internet user does not own/hold a domain name.
More ecommerce is generated from the credit cards of nondomain name holders than from holders.
More businesses in the world use domain names that are different from their business name than use domain names that are the same.
More users get an address from another medium than obtain them through the Internet.
There are no representatives of users within the ICANN system.
