[ga] A Snag For Verisign's Suit Against ICANN
- To: General Assembly of the DNSO <ga@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
- Subject: [ga] A Snag For Verisign's Suit Against ICANN
- From: Jeff Williams <jwkckid1@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

All former DNSO GA members or other interested stakeholders/users,
Sad but not unexpected news...
See:
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/ap/20040518/ap_on_hi_te/internet_oversight
and
http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/techpolicy/2004-05-18-verisign-must-refile_x.htm
Yet I amongst many or our members are hopeful that Verisign will
recover
in this suit as at the time Site Finder was very popular as a viable
alternative
to ICANN's hosed up, privacy invading Whois revised and vastly
non-supported
proposed standard...
Regards,
