<DIV>The point is to get you to differentiate between - Information,
Entertainment, and Knowledge. And information good or bad is still information
and Entertainment can be informational. Hoaxes, myths and rumors are
information and quite often entertaining. Knowledge can come from anywhere,
that is up to the recipient of the information or entertainment. One of the
best examples are agendized schools -- the "education" is more marketing than
knowledge but clearly informational and often entertainment. The information
can impart knowledge or not -- up to the student.</DIV>

damn business -- but do not shoot the messenger.</DIV>

<P>Eric and all,</P>

<P> I love Jimmy Wales, but he is NO Columbus or Galleleo to be
sure. I admire Jimmy's</P>
<P>tenacity and vision with Wikipedia, but given some of hoaxes that have been
expounded</P>
<P>there and remain perpetrated there, it leaves me wanting for better, which
Jimmy will eventually </P>
<P>achieve some day, just not today or likely in the near term. We
should all prefer, if not demand</P>
<P>'Original Documentation' instead of the revisionist sort, should we
not? Gotta love editors </P>
<P>though eh? >;) So be sure to cross check those wikipedia
references every time!</P>
<P> </P>
<P> Gods speed and grace Jimmy!</P>
